How do I put a little color on your face without looking like a clown?
My skin is very white (too light for almost all foundations have just tried) and I want to do something always pale. My face and lips have very little natural color. I try to use different eye shadows, liners and blushes … but it does not appear at all, or is too obvious. Any product with decent pigmentation only stands out too. I have had some success recently with embarrassment, but my eyes are the real problems. Any suggestions on how to use eye color that will give me a touch of pop, but does not seem too crazy on the pale skin? I have green eyes and brown hair clear.
Here are some general rules that you might actually be able to remember: instead of trying to remember the color used for what and what intensity, ….. etc. (1) No matter what, use mascara. This will define your eyes even if you use a light eyeshadow (2). Focusing on a single function. Or do a stroke of bright eyeshadow over the top, a bright coral or peach blush, or lip —- brilliant, but never all at once. In this way, you can really use any color you had that no matter how intense it is. By focusing on one feature, will appear more "high fashion" and less "clown".
